Mr. PlayasMexico's Insider Beach Guide
    YOUR DATA

    Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we don't, and how it's handled.

This site is run by people who hate invasive tracking as much as you do. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a website, we don't sell anything about you, and we use privacy-friendly tools wherever we can. Here's the full picture.

    Who we are

Mr. Playas (mrplayas.com) is operated by Kiss My Ads LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, USA. This policy covers the mrplayas.com website only.

    What we collect

Analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) to see aggregate traffic — which pages are popular, roughly where visitors come from, what device they use. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal information that could identify you.

Contact form. If you message us through the contact page, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide so we can reply. The form is processed by Web3Forms. We use this information only to respond to you.

Affiliate clicks. When you click an outbound link to a partner (a tour, rental, or hotel booking site), that partner — or its affiliate network — may set its own cookie to attribute the referral. We don't control those cookies, and you can read more in our Affiliate Disclosure.

    What we don't do

    • We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
    • We don't run ad networks that profile you across the web.
    • We don't see or store your payment details — bookings happen on the partner's site.

    Cookies & third parties

Our own analytics is cookieless. However, when you click through to a third-party booking partner, that site operates under its own privacy policy and may set cookies on its domain. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any site where you complete a booking. Third parties we may link to include Viator, DiscoverCars, Trip.com, Fever, and Xcaret, among others.

    Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU's GDPR and California's CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Since the only personal data we typically hold is what you send us through the contact form, you can exercise these rights by contacting us and we'll honor the request.

    Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date below. Material changes will be reflected here.
